Baumgardner-Kranz Engineering was founded in 2019 in the City of Santa Rosa by Samuel Baumgardner-Kranz. We have worked with building and road jurisdictions around California, including Wine Country, the Bay Area, the Redwood Coast, the Central Valley, and others. Samuel Baumgardner-Kranz has 10 years of structural engineering experience with retaining walls, bridges, and residential structures. He is passionate about designing durable structures and for finding ways to integrate environmentally sustainable practices into structural design. He has ​worked with structures in all stages of life, from construction, maintenance, refurbishment, repair, and replacement. Samuel graduated from California State University, Chico, in 2011 with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. In California, he is a licensed Civil Engineer (No. C87230). Samuel is also a licensed Structural Engineer (No. S7044), which is awarded to only a rare few in the state, and is a testament to his advanced structural engineering knowledge.
